Moist Feeds

Specially formulated to provide a comprehensive offering, suitable for all rations

Moist blends are highly palatable feeds manufactured from quality co-products from the food and drink industry, providing a cost-effective way to improve forage intake and palatability across the diet – and a reliable option for extending forage in times of shortage.

  • Formulated to a consistent specification for reliable nutrient content and quality

Sustainability

  • Often made from co-products of the food and drink industry, giving a smaller carbon footprint

Moist Feed Ranges

Both our Mole Gold and Mole Moist ranges are manufactured from quality co-products of the food and drink industry, offering a cost-effective way to boost forage intake and palatability across the diet. Both can also be used as an excellent forage extender in times of shortage, or to buffer-feed animals at grass.

Mole Gold Range
Built around Trafford Gold – a wheat processing co-product high in protein, energy and digestible fibre – alongside cider yeast, which is high in energy and protein and supports milk fat, rumen health and fibre digestibility. Includes Mole Gold First, Supreme and Advantage.

Mole Moist Range
Draws on a wider mix of co-products, including barley, biscuit meal, brewers’ grains, cooked potato chips, distillers’ syrup, malt residual pellets, moist citrus pulp, potato cream, wheat distillers and wheatfeed. Includes Mole Power Mix, Mole Moist HE 18 Mix, HE 20 Mix and Pro 25 Mix.

Neil Ridgway, Farm Manager at award winning Stowell Farms, who are currently achieving over 46 litres per cow across over 900 cows, says:

“The new moist feed has been a great addition to the diet. The cows love it! Production has increased and it’s helping to provide a stable, very palatable mix as forages change. It’s also enabling us to lower our carbon footprint.”
